MAINTENANCE CALENDAR

The calendar is intended as a guide only as there are seasonal variations not just from year to year but within the Newcastle area from suburb to suburb within the same season and year.

The Newcastle Bonsai Society Since 1976

The Newcastle Bonsai Society was formed after a public meeting. It was attended by thirty members in 1976.

After some boom times as well as lulls, the club now has a membership in excess of 80 members and the popularity of Bonsai throughout the Hunter Valley is on the increase.

OUR CLUBS MISSION

To promote the fascinating art of Bonsai, to a broad base of people, in a friendly, informative and welcoming environment and provide a meeting place for enthusiasts to get together and exchange ideas, whilst working on their trees.

OUR MEETINGS

The Club meets on the second Saturday of the month at Warner’s Bay Girl Guide Hall, corner of Burton and Lamington Rds. Mount Hutton. Committee meetings commence at 9.30 a.m. with the workshop commencing at 10.30 a.m. The club Tutor and other senior members are there to advise anyone who requires assistance. The venue is booked till 4.00p.m.
